Lucy is a jazz accordionist, jazz singer, and multi-instrumentalist living in New York. She is the bandleader, executive producer, and creative director of her jazz quintets albums and music videos. Her jazz band is called "Lucy Lambert's Violet Drift", and features a rotating cast of some of Canada and Americas best jazz players. Lucy's singing is influenced by the great vocalists of early jazz music. Her unique voice is often compared to jazz singers such as Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, and Amy Winehouse.
She is a self taught musician and music producer who focusses on jazz accordion, piano, singing, and violin.
Lucy is currently in the process of producing Violet Drift's second full length jazz album, featuring an incredible group of Vancouvers jazz musicians.

She had her first full length jazz album featured on many jazz radio stations, playlists and presses, including CBC radio Saturday Night Jazz with Laila Biali, Ici Musique Radio Canada, Saturday Night Jazz, Jazz Fm, Jazz Today, Sorties Jazz Nights! Syncopated Times, Women in Jazz Media, Canadian Beats, V13 Magazine and Mcgill University radio's Morning After Show, as well as been #1 on the CJSW Jazz Charts.
